Ulster County students who will be entering Grades 8-10 in September are invited to explore opportunities in non-traditional careers during a free Trading Places Summer Camp being held at the Ulster BOCES Career & Technical Center on Route 9W in Port Ewen. Two sessions will be offered from 9 AM to 12 Noon, Monday through Friday. Session 1 dates are July 7 through July 18, and Session II dates are July 21 through August 1.

The Trading Places Summer Camp is free to Ulster County students and will feature activities, including hands-on workshops and a chance to meet experts in non-traditional job roles.

Scheduled workshops for girls include Manufacturing Technology, Auto Technology, Computer Repair, Motorcycle Repair, and Welding. Boys can explore their options in Early Childhood Development. The Trading Places Summer Camp is funded by a grant from Ulster County Tech Prep.
