Program Overview

The Instructional Services

Instructional Services provides educators with leadership and support in their efforts to enhance and improve student performance, including the integration of technology. Working in a collaborative partnership with school districts, the New York State Education Department, and State-funded resource centers, Instructional Services offers programming to develop and utilize best practices and drive school curriculum improvement. These services focus on State Education Department initiatives, Learning Standards, and the New York State and Federal No Child Left Behind accountability systems. Content area support to provide strategic training, curriculum development, program coordination, and direct student work is also provided in district-identified areas. Educational technology services facilitate regional and countywide integration of technology and ensure that Ulster County schools have the capacity to remain on the cutting edge. Students, teachers, administrators, and, by extension, communities all benefit from the professional development and technical programs provided.
