 Health Services
People working in this field provide healthcare and support services to address the physical, mental, and emotional needs of their clients. They apply scientific, technical, social, and interpersonal skills to diagnose and treat illnesses, document care, provide a therapeutic environment, and maintain the health of their clients.
Successful completion of this program qualifies students to take the Licensing Examination for Practical Nursing, as well as earn up to 24 college credits toward certification as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Currently, students can earn college credits with the following institutions when successfully completing their course of study:
Columbia-Greene Community College (24 credits) • Dutchess County Community College (6 credits) • SUNY Ulster (6 credits) • Helene Field College of Nursing (18 credits)

· Industrial Nurse
The Career & Technical Center offers both part-time and full-time Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) programs, as well as a Surgical Technician and Phlebotomy program. Many colleges offer Registered Nurse (RN) programs and other health related occupations, including physical therapy, recreational therapy, and x-ray technician.
