
Grant Coordination
This service assists participating school districts in the development and timely submission of well-prepared, competitive grant proposals and in the conduct of searches to locate funding sources that correspond with the district's priorities and needs.
The specific activities that can be undertaken by the grants coordinator and staff include:
- The compilation and dissemination of information regarding grant funding sources.
- Research and development of a database to substantiate the needs section required for specific grant funded programs.
- Facilitation of meetings with potential collaborators (e.g., agencies, businesses, etc.) to determine common objectives, goals, roles of partners in grant project, and timelines.
- Technical review and editing of proposals prior to submission.
- Writing and submission of grant proposals.
