Educators from 19 school districts in four counties spent November 7 engaged in rich learning experiences at the Ulster BOCES campus in New Paltz. Approximately 120 educators, including 11 students, took part in day one of Beyond Technology: Building Capacity for Sustainable Improvement in Student Learning, a three-day seminar led by international education technology leader Alan November. Teams of administrators, teachers, guidance counselors, students, librarians and others are developing skills that will help them empower learners to become engaged in self-directed learning.
