Ulster BOCES Disaster Relief
Each one of us has been deeply affected by the events of September 11, 2001. The Board and staff of Ulster BOCES join all people of good will in our common sorrow, and in solidarity with the victims and survivors of the terrorist attack. In turn, the staff at Ulster BOCES has established the Ulster BOCES Disaster Relief Fund to raise money to benefit the American Red Cross in its efforts to help those in need in New York City and Washington D.C. New York City is currently overwhelmed by material donation support, but the need for specific items evolves as rescue efforts progress. Today, donations are being accepted of heavy rubber gloves and thick soled rubber work boots, preferably with steel toes. You may bring your donation of any of these items to the following local organizations and businesses. The items will be brought to New York City on your behalf.
