The Visible Learning Institute, with internationally recognized educational thought-leader John Hattie, which was scheduled to take place at the Sheraton Hotel in Mahwah, NJ on April 29, 2020, has been rescheduled for October 21, 2020.
The decision to postpone the Institute was made due to the impact that COVID-19 is having on our communities across the globe. The health and well-being of our attendees, presenters, and colleagues is always our top priority, and we hope that our extended family of educators and students stay safe through the next few months.
Now scheduled to take place in October, this dynamic one-day event is designed to provide you with the tools to identify key takeaways from the Visible Learning research, learn about the five strands of Visible Learning, and identify the difference between influences that impact student achievement.
At this institute, you will learn:
- The key philosophy of Visible Learning and the major factors that influence student learning
- The importance of learning intentions and success criteria
- The mind frames leaders should have in order to impact instruction
- The key characteristics of assessment-capable learners
