The Ulster Adult Career Education Center’s new winter catalog has countless opportunities to learn something new, refine your skills, or just meet new friends. The catalog is available now and can be found on the Ulster BOCES website at www.ulsterboces.org/AdultEd.
The programs and classes include a wide range of career-focused instruction, such as Electrical Apprentice, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Certification, Cosmetology and Barbering for New York State Licensing, Culinary Essentials, and Nursing Assistant training. The catalog’s community education section features the newly introduced "Chef Du Jour" classes, offering options like Valentine’s Day Confections, Cheesecake: Whisk, Whip & WOW, Introduction to Plant-Forward Cooking, Tour of Sicily, Family Cooking Class: Spaghetti and Meatballs, and the “Baking Bad” Sourdough Series.
For those looking to break out of the winter blues, the winter courses provide an opportunity to explore new hobbies, such as West Coast Swing Dance or Needle Felting. Others might choose to dive into the captivating world of Portrait Photography or get active with Total Body Burn and Learn.
