The Ulster BOCES Auto Collision Technology program recently received its eighth donation from the I-Car Collision Repair Education Foundation.
The Career & Technical Center program received a skid that was loaded with a variety of 3M items including tire covers, sanding disks, sandpaper, fiberglass repair adhesive, sandpaper dispenser rolls, tape, and more.
In addition to providing students with materials they need to master their trade, the foundation has in the past supported the program through generous grants worth $1,000 (in 2017) and $5,000 (in 2014).
“These donations help to prepare our students when they enter the workforce or pursue their post-secondary education. I am so appreciative to the Collision Repair Education Foundation for everything they have done for Ulster BOCES over the years,” says Auto Collision Technology instructor Dave Rosenberg.
