Ulster BOCES was proud to host this year’s NYSCATE Mid-Hudson Tech Fest 2026: Leading Learning Through Change on Friday, March 6 at the Ulster BOCES Career Academies at iPark 87.

Educational leaders from across the four-county Mid-Hudson region gathered for a day of collaboration and professional learning focused on navigating emerging technologies while keeping students, equity, and safety at the center of the conversation.

Sessions throughout the day explored topics such as elevating student voice, aligning instructional practices with the New York State Portrait of a Graduate, preparing students for future-ready pathways, and strengthening cybersecurity efforts in schools.

Hosting the event at the Career Academies made the day especially meaningful. The iPark 87 campus reflects Ulster BOCES’ commitment to innovation, hands-on learning, and career-connected education—making it an ideal setting for regional leaders to come together to discuss the future of teaching and learning.
