School Safety Plan Public Comment
Ulster BOCES Board of Education Adoption of School Safety Plan
The Ulster BOCES Board of Education is responsible for adopting a district-wide safety plan. Before adopting this plan, the draft must be presented to the public with a 30-day public comment period. After this period, the school safety plan is then presented to the Board of Education for a first reading at its October 30 meeting. A second reading and final approval is scheduled for November 20, 2019.
Each district shall then file a copy of its district-wide safety plan and all amendments no later than thirty days after their adoption.
