In this in person session, we'll examine case studies and student examples from CUNY's Initiative on Immigration and Education. We'll learn how the funds of knowledge approach can strengthen our instruction for refugee students and all students. We'll explore preconceived notions and stereotypes of refugee students and ways to counter those.
