This face to face training session will allow participants to experience the Intermediate-Level Science Investigation for Energy, "Cool It!" Participants will learn how to facilitate this investigation as a teacher, and experience the full investigation as a student. Participants will gain an understanding of NYSED's expectations for the new science investigations as well as leave with a customizable digital resource to support facilitating this investigation with their classes.
Participants may prefer to bring their own Chromebook or laptop to explore the digital resource. Participants may use BOCES laptops as well. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
