- Create, lead, manage, and direct with vision a complex array of programs and services offered by the BOCES for the component district.

The successful candidate must hold or be eligible for New York State School District Administrator certification, and must reside in or be willing to relocate to New York State.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
New York State SDA or SDL Certification. Ability to plan, supervise, and evaluate work of professionals and administrators. Knowledge of the role, mission, procedures, and organization of BOCES; knowledge of education law and the regulations of the State of New York that govern BOCES operations. Broad knowledge of both central and program administrative policies and procedures. Experience as a superintendent is not essential, but desirable.
