Educator Edge at Ulster BOCES offers a series with HTH Design and Immersion

Oct. 17 & 18 Hudson Valley PBL Essentials: Design for Deeper Learning

Jan. 25-27 San Diego Three (3) days of Immersive PBL Design Camp

May 15 & 16 Hudson Valley PBL Project Unpacking: Making Learning Visible

Deepen Learning with High Tech High's Renowned PBL Design Camp

Attend with Hudson Valley educators and administrators to begin, or expand, project-based learning that transforms your classroom and supports your school culture. HTH Design Camp supports educators to develop and critique project designs, exhibitions, and assessments.

Educators will learn how to:

  • Explore project design that motivates, challenges, and reinvigorates students and teachers;
  • Deepen mastery of academic core content to align college and career readiness;
  • Design culturally responsive PBL projects which foster equity and empathy in schools;
  • Develop relationships and practices with colleagues across the Hudson Valley and San Diego;
  • Instill skills in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, leadership, self-directed learning, global connectivity, and reflection.

Select 10 sessions in the Hudson Valley or 13 sessions in the Hudson Valley + San Diego Design Camp. Both opportunities consist of day-long workshops and monthly hour-long coaching sessions where educators put PBL into practice. In San Diego, educators are immersed with K-12 students and staff for three days to gain significant real-world experience in deeper learning opportunities across three campuses. All sessions are led by internationally acclaimed, inspiring facilitators.
