This summit invites teachers to bring their students to showcase their work, providing a platform for young minds to share their ideas and projects focused on creating a more sustainable future. At this summit, students will have the opportunity to exhibit their research, inventions, and initiatives that address critical environmental and social issues. 

Through a combination of presentations, exhibitions, workshops, and interactive activities, the event fosters a dynamic learning environment where students and educators can engage with like-minded individuals and experts in the field. 

The Sustainable Futures Summit 2024 encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration, sparking creativity and innovation among students and educators alike. It serves as a catalyst for inspiring and empowering the next generation to take an active role in building a more sustainable, equitable, and environmentally responsible future.

Chris Bowser

Chris Bowser is the Education Coordinator for the NYSDEC Hudson River Estuary Program and the Hudson River Research Reserve, in partnership with the Water Resource Institute of Cornell University. He also teaches environmental science at Marist College, and previously worked for the United States Peace Corps and the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater.
