Pivot to Full Remote Learning
Given the recent spread of COVID-19 in Ulster County, to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff, we have decided to pivot all of our programs (Career & Technical Education, Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning in Port Ewen and Anna Devine, HVPA, Phoenix, and Ramapo) to full remote teaching and learning beginning on Wednesday, December 16. The period of full remote teaching and learning will extend through Friday, January 15. At the present time, we plan to return to in-person teaching and learning on Tuesday, January 19.
To continue to educate and stay connected with our students during this extended closure, we are pivoting to our North Star Virtual Academies at Ulster BOCES instructional model, which is a robust educational delivery system that provides engaging and relevant content, social-emotional support, connectedness, and community for our diverse learners.
