In a project that combined literacy with technology, students in the Wallkill Central School District recently created and printed their own Humpty Dumpty statues on a 3D printer borrowed from Ulster BOCES as part of a unique program called Technology to Go.
The Instructional Services division offers a broad spectrum of programs and services for local districts. Our goal is to support component school districts as they focus on student learning and the art and science of teaching. Instructional Services delivers program support in a variety of ways:
Ulster BOCES Instructional Services hosted Tech Fest 2017 on Oct. 24, an event which showcased the benefits of technology in the classroom.
Students in five area school districts now have a cool new "friend" to interact with in their classroom project-based STEM activities. Educators from across the region recently participated in a Robot Make and Take activity hosted by Ulster BOCES Model Schools.
This event is dedicated to educating and rejuvenating early childhood professionals, such as directors, owners, and administrators of daycare centers. Learn more and register here.
