Ulster BOCES means different things to different people. For Amanda Simmons, Ulster BOCES Adult Career Education Center provided her with the solid foundation needed to work as a nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For graduate Alexa Cotich, the Ulster BOCES Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning at Port Ewen was a place where she could thrive emotionally and academically, while she discovered the desire to help others by pursuing a career path as a school social worker.

Surgical Technologist Program Graduates 17

After completing a rigorous, nationally accredited Surgical Technologist program at the Ulster BOCES Adult Career Education Center, 17 graduates attended a commencement ceremony on June 21.

Ulster BOCES School of Practical Nursing Graduates 27

After 1,200 hours of rigorous classroom and clinical instruction, 27 graduates of the Ulster BOCES Adult Career Education Center's School of Practical Nursing took the Florence Nightingale Pledge, committing to fulfill the requirements of being a practical nurse.

Ulster BOCES Named 21st CCLC Rest of State Resource Center

The New York State Education Department has named Ulster BOCES as the contracting agency to oversee training and professional development to educators in upstate New York, including Long Island and the Yonkers, Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo school districts.
