Surgical Technologist

The Ulster BOCES Surgical Technology program is an exciting 970-hour, 10-month program that will prepare you to assist surgeons in the operating room: pre-, during, and post-surgery. Surgical instrumentation, sterilization, patient transport and preparation, positioning, and monitoring are a few elements of the program. Twenty-two seats are available each enrollment year.

Surgical technology students

Surgical Technologists are Allied Health professionals who are an integral part of a team of medical practitioners who provide medical care to patients in a variety of settings.
