CTE Student Handbook
Dear Young Professional:
Welcome! We are thrilled you have made the decision to attend the Career & Technical Center (CTC), as either a returning learner or a first year learner. We hope you find this school year to be exciting, challenging, and most of all a rewarding educational experience. Commitment, engagement, and professionalism are the essential keys to success here at the center. We look forward to working together and appreciate you taking the time to read this handbook. It will answer many questions and guide you through our expectations, procedures, and activities. It will also explain the services and benefits CTC has to offer.
Your Career & Technical education includes the integration of academics and employability skills for success in college, career, and life –long learning. Your education is a partnership between you, your parents and your instructor. We are proud to have such passionate, skilled trade instructors that have worked many years in their associated trade areas and have countless hours of practical experience performing their crafts prior to becoming instructors. To ensure your success here at CTC, please take advantage of their vast knowledge, talents, experience, and industry connections.
Our entire staff here at the CTC is committed to supporting you on your learning journey. We welcome and encourage any suggestions you may have to assist us in improving our educational culture and outcomes for our students.
Have a wonderful school year, and please feel free to stop by my office with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Joseph Salamone
Assistant Director, Career Pathways Programs
