CTE Student Handbook
September 2020
Dear Career & Technical Center Student:
Welcome! We are glad you have made the decision to attend the Career and Technical Center, as either a returning student or a first year student. We hope you find this school year to be exiting, challenging and most of all a rewarding educational experience. Commitment, engagement, and professionalism are the essential keys to success here at the Career & Technical Center. We appreciate you taking the time to read this handbook. It will answer many questions and guide you through the expectations, procedures, and activities we have here at CTC. It will also explain the services and benefits CTC has to offer.
Your Career & Technical education includes the integration of academics and universal foundation skills for success in college and career. Your education is a partnership between you, your parents and your instructor. Here at CTC, we pride ourselves on having an outstanding teaching and support staff. We are proud to have such passionate, experienced instructors that have worked many years in their associated trade areas and have countless hours of practical experience performing their crafts prior to becoming instructors. To guarantee your success here at CTC, please take advantage of their vast experience, knowledge, talents, and industry connections.
Attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are pivotal and essential to your success in the program.
Our entire staff here at CTC is committed to supporting you on your path to success. We always welcome any suggestions you may have to assist us in improving our educational culture.
Have a wonderful school year, and please feel free to stop by my office with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Amy Storenski
