Ulster BOCES

During a breakfast presentation on May 17, held at the Season’s onsite restaurant at the Ulster BOCES Career & Technical Center, 36 young professionals from the Class of ‘24 received more than $19,000 in scholarships. The event, which was catered by young professionals in the TOP-A program, allowed our young professionals to say thank you in person to the more than 20 generous businesses, organizations, and individuals who contributed to our annual scholarship fund, established to help jump-start graduates into the next stage of their career, whether it be continuing their education or purchasing tools and equipment needed for their profession. Principal Joseph Salamone expressed his gratitude to these partners for recognizing and rewarding the hard work our young professionals put into their efforts to learn their respective trades. 

At the event, young professionals represented Ellenville High School, Highland High School, Kingston High School, New Paltz High School, Onteora High School, Rondout Valley High School, Saugerties High School, and Wallkill High School. We appreciate the support from our local business community and industry partners, and we extend our congratulations to all our scholarship recipients!
